20 free half-day consultations up for grabs

Sussex-based interim management, corporate finance and business troubleshooting boutique EMC is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

To mark the occasion, the firm is offering 20 companies a free half-day business consultation with at least two of its top team of advisors.

Companies will be able to choose how best to use the free time.

EMC founder and chief executive Nik Askaroff explained: "Each business is likely to have a different view of what they would like to achieve from a meeting with our experts. They may want to discuss a particular financial, sales, marketing or production problem. Or they may prefer to include us in a brainstorm session that could provide them with some useful ideas for the future.

"The only stipulation we're making is that the business should have a turnover of at least £1m. After that, it's down to them to decide what they want from us."

Businesses wanting to take advantage of the offer should either email julief@emcltd.co.uk or call Julie Foster on 01323 410144. The first 20 to do so will be visited by EMC's problem-solvers.

EMC, which has offices in Eastbourne, Crawley and Maidstone, is one of the leading firms of business advisors and corporate troubleshooters in the South East. It pioneered the concept of the ‘mobile boardroom' - a multi-disciplined taskforce capable of providing top level support and advice to small and medium sized businesses on a short or long-term basis.

Its people work across all the main business disciplines - finance, sales, marketing, manufacturing and IT. Many of them have held senior boardroom roles in major national and international companies, as well as building and running businesses of their own.

Nik Askaroff added: "EMC was formed in a recession and we're now in the middle of another one. Our team has tremendous experience of steering businesses through troubled times, so I'm sure that we'll be able to offer some practical support and advice to businesses when we meet them."
