Julian has a business studies and psychology degree. He was a top sales performer in Kodak\'s Office Imaging division and had dealings with some of the largest companies in the UK. Since 1998 he has worked independently with a number of SMEs to help them grow their businesses and developed sales strategies for larger companies in relation to training and development. He also has experience of working as an interim sales director.

He has the motivation, knowledge and ability to increase a company\'s sales performance in a number of different, competitive markets in order for them to achieve growth.

Julian\'s areas of expertise include manufacturing, transport, insurance, printing and hotels. He has worked with companies of many different sizes and has the flexibility to meet a variety of sales-related challenges. Assignments have included:

He is able to work with a sales team to provide solutions which produce a stable, effective and profitable sales operation. He is also the author of a book on successful selling solutions which has sold more than 10,000 copies worldwide, and co-written another on sales management. He is currently co-writing a book on how SME owners can look at ways to improve their understanding of the challenges faced by different board director roles.
