A successful entrepreneur in her own right, Gill joined EMC in 2008 shortly after selling a business that she had founded. She brings to the consultancy high level strategic management skills and the creative spark needed to develop first and second phase companies and maximise business performance and opportunities. With a background in creating and building businesses, Gill is a dynamic motivator who has the ability to relate to a wide range of people and to enthuse and empower a team.

After gaining experience in developing field sales as a first career at the beginning of the ‘80s, Gill founded her first company at the age of 21 and sold this eight years later to a major catering organisation as the largest privately-owned sandwich manufacturer in London. At this time, the business employed 80 staff and Gill had been solely responsible for developing the company and its sales.
She was subsequently approached to develop another business in a similar sector. She used her hands-on marketing experience to grow their sales four-fold within a two year period which enabled the company’s move to its next level of maturity. . . and its move to new premises in Covent Garden, London, where it now employs 200 people.
Gill is still involved in developing her own diverse and successful companies - one of her latest ventures is 1click2cook.com, a revenue-generating website which provides healthy meal plans and automated shopping lists for busy working parents - but also relishes the challenge of guiding others on the path to success: identifying strategies and delivering results for companies needing creative, yet practical, solutions to enable them to grow successfully within their markets.
Having recently helped an award-winning natural lifestyle brand for children to increase turnover by 100% and launch successfully into franchising, she is currently working with a £2m graphic solutions company to create an innovative sales plan, streamlining the sales function to increase projected sales by 10%. She is also involved in establishing and developing a series of high profile lunch clubs for blue-chip organisations across the South East; re-energising the sales and operational functions for a high quality travel and holidays firm; and undertaking a comprehensive business audit for a complex contract construction company prior to developing a new strategic marketing, sales and branding strategy.
Gill won the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ title at the 2007 Crawley Business Awards and is regarded as a leading and innovative businessperson who will add value to any business that retains her services.
Gill spends her leisure time walking her dogs, renovating her home, cooking and eating – another good reason for the dog walks! Gill and her husband have a love of all things Middle-Eastern and Gill is teaching herself Arabic ready for the next time she visits the region
