Martin Stanton 07980 012382 martin.stanton@emcltd.co.uk EMC Director Martin Stanton has spent more than 20 years working in and with various media businesses. Specialising in the TV and film sectors, he has been responsible for producing a number of corporate promotional and training films for a wide variety of companies and products. Particular projects include a "patients-eye" view of the services provided to a major provider of occupational health services; a series of wildlife programmes aired on Channel 4 and various satellite channels; a promotional film which had the unenviable task of making the client's range of industrial pumps look interesting; and a series of animated films, to be shown on mainstream TV, for a provider of utilities.

In all his work Martin operates from a sales viewpoint, and his thesis is that, in making effective films, we are trying to encourage the audience to "think, feel, or act" in a different way. The dramatic reduction in the cost of TV and film recording and editing equipment, together with enhanced available computing power, now means that web sites can be populated with video at a price that is affordable to most SMEs, and the explosion in this marketplace provides huge opportunities for companies operating in this sector.

As a sales and marketing specialist, Martin now spends much of his time advising TV and film companies on developing and growing their businesses. Read Martin's Full Profile »
