EMC sponsors KEiBA for a third year

KEiBA lunch

EMC is again sponsoring the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA) organised by Kent County Council and the KM Group.

EMC Kent Director Desmond High will help to choose the 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year along with a representative from the Kent Branch of the Institute of Directors which is jointly sponsoring the category.

He said: “In contrast with the professionally nervous managers in big businesses sitting on cash, our entrepreneurial risk takers are the people with the drive and vision to return the UK economy to health. Whilst the driven entrepreneur never goes into business to win awards, it is essential that their individual and collective efforts are properly recognised.”

This is the third year that EMC has supported KEiBA, the county’s main event to recognise and reward excellence in Kent’s businesses.

Desmond was one of the main speakers at the recent IoD/KEiBA lunch held at the Brand Hatch Place Hotel.
