Michael is called up for more jury service
Just a few months after sitting alongside Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales to help choose the winner of an investment competition run as part of December’s Tech Entrepreneurs’ Week, EMC Management Consultants’ Hove-based director Michael Pay will be part of a 12 man jury deciding the outcome of another national competition for business start-ups.
It will form part of the Inno-Tech Summit, a one day event for entrepreneurs, professionals and investors from the high-tech industries being held at the Connaught Rooms, London, on 13 April.
The Start-Up Competition will offer five finalists the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a jury of investors to promote entrepreneurship and SMEs in the UK. Michael will help to choose the winner and two runners-up who will each receive valuable financial and mentoring support packages.
He said: “The Inno-Tech Summit will bring together the UK’s leading technology start-ups, venture capitalists and technology angels to discuss, network, and learn about the latest developments across the sector.
“I’m very much looking forward to listening to several of the top-notch speakers who will be there as well as to the entrepreneurs who will each be outlining their business case to the competition jury. It’s always exciting to think we may be about to uncover the next Big Thing of the high-tech industries.”
