Our CEO Nik Askaroff has been invited to join the judging panel for this year’s Eastbourne Business Awards.

Nik will join five other judges – Johnston Press consulting editor Keith Radley; Eastbourne Ltd Chamber of Commerce Business Development Manager Stephen Holt; W Bruford MD Ashley Push; Brewers Retail Development Manager Melanie Adams; and Parker Building Supplies Finance and Commercial Director Stewart Pierce – to choose the winners of 20 different categories covering a wide range of sectors and business sizes.

The winners will be announced at a glittering awards lunch at Eastbourne’s five-star Grand Hotel on 3 November.

Nik knows what it takes to be an award winner having been named the South East’s top dealmaker for the last three years in the prestigious Insider Dealmaker of the Year Awards.

He said: “I am delighted to have been asked to help judge these important awards which recognise, reward and celebrate the achievements of local businesses and the people who run and work for them.

“It will have been a difficult 12 months for many businesses, but cream will always float to the top and I am looking forward to seeing some great examples of how it’s perfectly possible not just to survive but to positively thrive even in these uncertain economic and political times.”
