Luke Soper
Luke leads the research team at EMC Corporate Finance and works out of our Brighton & Hove office.
He stayed local having graduated with a BSc in Economics followed by an MSc in Corporate Finance from the University of Sussex. Luke works alongside the lead advisors on a range of corporate finance projects including sales, acquisitions, fundraising, MBOs and private equity transactions.
His role includes:
- Market and sector research,
- Target generation
- Private Equity and Venture Capital Research
- Financial modelling
- Company valuations
Since joining Luke has worked on a number of transactions including the sale of cyber security business First Base Technologies to AIM listed Falanx Group, and acquisition assistance to DK Music management on the purchase of Warble Entertainment Agency Limited.
Outside of work Luke is a keen fitness enthusiast and sports fan, regularly watching football.
